Just some starting fluff.
The Fists of Knowledge are a Imperial Fists successor Chapter, founded at 034.M41. Due to geneseed defects and where the Chapter gets its neophytes from, they have a higher number of Librarians in their ranks. And as a consequence of having all these recruits that could get corrupted before, during, and after their initiation by Chaos, they also have a moderately higher number of Chaplains to watch over the Chapter. The Fists of Knowledge prefer to use their Librarians in the planning stages of a battle or campaign. Their Librarians have a tendency to divine when and where an uprising will occur, and as such have earned the disdain of much of the Imperium, have been accused of heresy at least once on the grounds of sorcery. The Fists of Knowledge usually reply that they had help in the from of the Emperors Tarot, though wether or not this is true has yet to be proven. Along with this, they have no Homeworld and as such are a completely fleet based chapter, though they recruit from a few planets on the galactic edge most often. The location of these planets is unknown, as each time the fleet is temporarily out range of the Astronomican. They also frequently remove themselves from a campaign, usually in search of ancient knowledge and artifacts, wether that be STC files, tomes, weapons, or armor. Anything that has some sort of historical knowledge, they will work as hard as they can to find it.
The Fists of Knowledge primarily uses forces best used in urban or close-quarters environments. As such the the entire First Company is composed of close-combat Terminators and Sternguard. Their vehicles and troops are almost always equipped with some sort of flamer or melta weapon.
This is VERY early fluff, so C&C is quite welcome.
At later points I will have some characters and a timeline up.

1: Like I said. Early. I am also very bad at coming up with names for things. If you could help me out with that part, it would be greatly appreciated.
2: Again, like I said, early. I am still fleshing out the Chapter. I will NOT be making Librarians Chapter Masters. Along with this, AFAIK, the Blood Ravens make primarily heavy use of Librarians and maybe troops. My chapter focuses on elite infantry in close-quarters. The only thing that is Blood Ravens-esque is that they have a higher than average amount of Libby's.

I do not recall that. If so, I am not sure that it will matter, he is far dead by the time this Chapter is created. And it is not like some the other chapter use no Libby's just because their Primarch did not like them. I realize that some (Space Wolves) do apply to this.

The main reason why I chose IF is mostly because the IF are my favorite Chapter.

They can have Librarians if they want... Librarians are standard in chapters now aren't they? So they wouldn't refuse to have a lot just because of who their primarch is.

The Imperial Fists have librarians, they were mentioned in Sons of Dorn, during the initiation process of the chapter's scouts. The Fists generally follow the codex to a T, deviating only in their stubbornness, use of the pain-glove, focus on dueling and scrimshawing, and other cultural peculiarities, along with their fleet-based nature. As far as organization goes, though, they're a codex chapter, complete with Librarians. I see no reason why the chapter couldn't be an Imperial Fists successor chapter. Additionally, the Soul Drinkers are a Fist successor, and IIRC they're led by a librarian. Finally, the very old 'Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Fists Supremacy Force' box set came with a librarian, identified in the accompanying booklet as Librarian Arcas. I like the fluff, but questions spring to mind: + You say they're a fleet-based chapter that recruits from multiple worlds, but also say that the chapter is shaped by genetic peculiarities inherited from their recruiting world(s). How did these mutations get spread across multiple planets? Or does the chapter scour multiple planets, keeping an eye out of potential psykers for recruitment? + The name could use some work. Just because they're an Imperial Fists successor chapter doesn't mean they need to incorporate 'Imperial' or 'Fists' into the title.

The second part. They look for potential psykers.
And yeah, I need some help on the name.

There recruitment policy doesnt sound the most legit does it? Dropping off the radar and re-appearing with a brand new company (for example) which has a high number of psykers present. Wouldnt the inquisiton like to know where they are mining all these psychic humans to make recruits? That bit doesnt fit with the dogmatic Fists really does it.
I think for the name, you should focus it on one of the 2 angles you have going for your chapter namely
a) High Psyker content (Dear god NOT the Psychic Fist)
b) Hunger for Knowledge (NOT the Treasure Hunters lol)
Which for you is the more important aspect, fluff wise?

That is why, in the fluff for the Chapter, the majority of the Imperium is very suspicious of the Chapter, and some of the Chapters (including the Imperial Fists) pretty much hate them. They are on the verge of being declared traitors. Because my Chapter is so different then where they got their geneseed from, the Imperial Fists, and their major successors, such as Crimson Fists and Black Templars, don't want to have anything to do with them.
Think it would sound better if they are a successor to the Crimson Fists?
And to answer the second part, I am going for the "hunger for knowledge" aspect.

I can go with the fluff, but 'fists of knowledge' is a terrible name.
What someone else said about their dodgy recruitment process & the inquisition. Go with it anyway. Could be quite flavoursome that they dont get on with the inquisition & are always suspected of being one step away from being corrupt.

Oracles of Dorn.
As far as the recruitment from multiple worlds - make it a secret world near the Eye of Terror. This allows for the anomaly of higher percentage of psykers and makes the high percentage of psykers in the chapter believable.
Add to it another use - deception and evasion through pskers. The world is masked or people conveniently fail to remember visiting the world.

AFAIK, we know the location of all the Primarchs except for Vulkan.

Silver - considered the metal of intuition.
Golden Yellow - The color of the base chapter
Perhaps silver helms with golden armor. Or take it higher and go to white (non-metallic representation of silver) Then use golden yellow as a highlight.

At first the chapter sounded really lame with the name good history and alot better. Also Suggestion Organize the Chapter like this... Chapter Name: Yup needed Geneseed:Cannot Claim to be a Lost Legion Founding: 2nd founding invaild and not allowed by multiple groups. Chapter NO: Yes you do need a Chapter no. Man Power:Good to have like 1 extra scout or reserve company. Battle cry: Not that hard to make Deviations (if any): fun and interesting to implement Chapter Master: Need One. Give out Alternative names as well. Homeworld:Can be fleet based or homeworld based Symbol: Picture of Chapter Symbol Colors: Picture of Marine here Notable Heroes: Company Captains, Chaplains, Chief Librarians or Librarian History: Chapter Organization: Company Tactics: Specializations: Have fun
