Fairly new to LotR SBG, I have already had success with the grey company (lead by Aragorn), and was looking at starting a Moria Goblins force when I come across the differences between the Moria Drummers and the Gundabad Drummers. I definitely want to include either the Moria drummers or Gundabad Drummers, leaning more towards the Gundabad ones. I must be missing something as the gundabad drummers seem much better than their Moria counterparts, being able to move easier and not have to drop their drum to fight, and the ability to have the drum picked up by other Gundabad goblins if they die and the +1 courage to all goblins, not just moria goblins, but they cost 30 points less than the Moria drummers. What am I missing here?

For reference, the Moria Drummers are on page 103 of the big blue rulebook and the Gundabad drummers are on page 41 of WD 371 (the dark eldar one).

You are (as far as I have seen) quite right. Gundabab Blackshield drummers are indeed better for the reasons you have stated. It was probably an oversight on GW's part. They should have a smaller radius or only apply to other blackshields.
