Are there diferent versions of the rules ? if so then in your opinion which is the best ?

The most current set of rules can be downloaded from the GW specilist games website. However in my experiance the rules in the book that comes with the starter set are close enough.

The main thing is if you're playing in a campaign make sure everyone agrees on which release to use. Some friends are organizing one and are using some specific tournament called "Blood Bowl Competition Rules v2" that I assume are an off-shoot off the living rulebook. We used an older Living Rulebook version for a campaign years ago.

As far as I can tell, a lot of the differences are in league stuff, not one-off games, but there's probably a lot of minor tweaks and clarifications if you know where to look... Player costs have probably been adjusted a few thousand here and there, for example.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

The rulebok posted is Living rulebook 6 edition.But the i beleive it s The CRP(Competion rules Pack).It is the same rules, just a strip down version minus the fluff.Since GW riped off the writer,since he wrote alot of the fluff they edited it out.Also if you do decide to start playing again i highly recommend Impact minatures for your Blood Bowl gaming goodies.They have everything you need that is not made by GW.

Yes, the CRP contains the rules that would have been LRB 6 but without all the artwork etc. I found a copy of LRB 6 here;

You'll also want the additional teams that were endorsed by the Blood Bowl Rules Committee (including Jervis but which cannot be included in the official rules as GW don't produce miniatures for them;

I can also second the recommendation for Impact Miniatures - they produce and sell some excellent models as well as all the other paraphernalia you need in order to play.

In my opinion the rules that come in the box are not nearly as good as the LRB6/CRP rules. The Devil is in the details, as usual, but those details make all the difference.
