So here it is LA Noire for PC. I would have wanted RDR...

And here are system requirements(found these on finnish gaming site):

Well here are some other game's system requirements

Crysis (for very high aka max settings)

OS - Windows Vista
Processor - A dual core processor 2.6 GHz or above<-------------------------------------
Memory - 3.0 GB RAM<---------------------------------------------------
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce 280 GTX or a Radeon HD 4870 X2 <----------------------------------- 580 rapes both these cards combined in sli and cfx

BF3 (for high @ 1920x1080 with maxed AA)

Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
Processor: Quad-Core CPU
Memory: 4 GB
Hard Drive: 20 GB
Graphics Card: DirectX 11 compatible with 1024 MB RAM (NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 or ATI RADEON 6950)

so either LA Noire PC is most beatiful game ever made or it's a complete piece of gak like GTA 4.

I find it hard to believe that those creepy facial animations are so advanced that they need more than twice the RAM of Crysis.

There are three things that don't make sense.

First recommended cpu is same speed with both amd and intel. The funny thing is that intel at 3.2ghz is a lot faster than amd at 3.2 ghz (thats why you usually see amd cpu's having higher speed's than intel). This really isn't a problem if the game is graphics heavy like crysis, bf3 or gta4 thats why I didn't put a big wtf -sign there.

Second and perhaps most disturbing part is the requirement for memory 8Gb. No other game has ever gone over 4gb and 4gb is mostly an overkill. The insanely high ram requirement indicates two things either the game has a lot of more content than console version or there is some sort of huge bug that consumes resources like <insert something smart here>. Consoles have 0.5Gb of memory and Windows OS usually takes 1-2gbs for it self.

Third the requirement for video card makes no sense at all. This chart explains it best:

You can see that 580 is better in every test and this is expected because it is the fastest single gpu card (costs around 400-500 euros, 6850 <200€). Only reason I think of is that Rockstar luvs AMD chips and on purpose fethed up optimization on nvidia.
