Can anyone tell me roughly how big the 'roller' part of the PT34 Mine Roller is? (The big cylinder at the front, which I think is all this kit includes...)

Here's the item from The War Store:

http://www.thewarstore.com/product42686.html

I'm thinking of building a fun custom Deathroller for Blood Bowl out of one. I ordered the Pendraken version (Hey, it was only $3.49) but it's a bit too small, and I'm eyeballing 10mm to 15mm and thinking it might still be too small.

(Ideally, I believe the end piece should roughly fit on a 25mm base, and should look like it can roll over someone. Spikes are a plus.)

Thanks, and if the mods would rather move this to the Other Games forum where Blood Bowl is discussed, feel free.

Its too small. I used to have 2 BB deathrollers for my chaos dwarf bolt throwers (long story) and there is no way anythign 15 mm short of a farm silo will be anywhere close. The deathroller overflows on a 40mm round base FYI.. so take one out, and use that for size. What might work is a small section of PVC tubing that you can get for cheap at the hardware store.

OK, thanks. I had a feeling it might be, but I'm not too familair with 15mm scale armor, so it seemed like a good idea. Aesthetics-wise, a pair of the 'barrel' sections would've looked about right.

I'll keep thinking of weird ideas.

Or, at least, I might see if I can find a local store that has these on-the-shelf. I think the Warstore link I have above is for five of just the roller unit (the frame and 'barrel' without the tanks... I might be able to use a couple, along with some engine-y parts I have around.

I don't think the rules we're using ever formally set the size of the big guys... May be a version in which everything is considered one 'square'.

This is, however, totally not FoW related by this point, and I apologize.
