Hello all, I've had suggestions from friends and clients that I should set up a painting log for the stuff I paint. My personal collection of models while not the biggest out there is certainly pretty high in the rankings. I also have been doing commissions of other people's models in the past and the challenges from the painting and conversion work helps me improve my own work.
I've always been looking for ways to get 'more bang for my buck' as far as painting quality and speeding up the process since I just have such a massive amount of models to get through eventually. I certainly am not above using super speed methods (such as dipping) where it is called for, but even then, I hate to leave that as the final step of the process and tend to do a good bit more to the models to get them just right.
Armies that I personally own some of or large quantities:
Warhammer
40k: Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Generic Marines,
GK, some sisters, Guard, Eldar, Tau, Nids, Chaos, Chaos Daemons, Necrons, Orks
Warhammer: Orcs and Goblins, Dwarves (small amount),
VC (some),
TK (some), Empire (all old stuff), And would like to do Ogres and Skaven eventually
Specialist games: Necromunda Van Sarr plus Cawdor plus some characters and minor stuff
Warmahordes: Circle of Oboros Construct heavy mostly, might branch into something else eventually
Stuff I have painted for others so far:
LOTR: Moria Goblins 144+ goblins plus 5 trolls
Fantasy: Ogre Kingdoms, Chaos Dwarves conversion in progress, Dwarves, some Black Orcs too.
40k: Imperial Fists
Specialist Games: Necromunda Van Sarr custom models, and other necromunda stuff as well
I will say right now, that I may not be the fastest painter out there, but I do my best to ensure that my clients get great results without breaking the bank.
To start this off, I will include some pictures of stuff I'm currently working on, as well as a few past works:
