Currently my gaming group consists of about 8, all pretty decent gamers with a good attitude towards the hobby. I'm thinking of starting a tournament with a focus on having a good laugh but with a decent prize (say £100 GW voucher) over the course of a single day. Entry money would be around £20 with a prize for best painted army.
I'm obviously really new to all of this so any thoughts / feedback would be greatly appreciated. We play our own in-house tournaments and have an absolute blast doing so and I've struggled to find any tournaments advertised in the North West. So, if a full day gaming with like-minded individuals would be something that you'd be up for and the price range is realistic then please post you comments, I'd be really happy to hear from you.
