Painting Within the Lines

Hey Dakka If this is in the wrong section I apologies I did not know where to place it.
My friend wants to buy this CSM army off me.
Daemon Prince
25 Marines
8 Bezerkers
5 Possessed
Rhino
He wasn't to buy it for £45 I do not like this so I ask you,how much would you pay.
PS:They are painted and assembled well.

Those items new are worth around one hundred pounds maybe, if my conversion is correct. I won't pay anywhere near retail price for painted figures though, because I prefer to paint my armies myself. If I am to add onto them, I don't want the army to look as if it has been painted by two different painters.
Honestly, your figures are worth whatever price you feel it's fair to sell them at. They are yours, you can sell them high or low, whatever you feel comfortable with. I would probably buy them for around fifty pounds. I usually buy assembled/painted models at half retail, but YMMV.

As long as both of you are happy with the price, charge what you like.
For a more accurate guide, look for the same figures on ebay, and compare painting quality against yours.

I would agree with your friend 45 - 50 seems about right. But I am less likely to buy painted models than unpainted ones, the fact that yours are painted would only mean more work for me to strip the paint off them...

Androgynous Daemon Prince of Slaanesh

Looks to me like you bought the battalion box, a daemon prince, and a box of ten CSMs. I'd say 50% of what you paid for them is fair for a friend, and this should take the discount of the battalion into account. Since he's a friend, charge based on what you paid, not what they're worth. If it were a stranger, go wild. Tell them you made a bad decision, bought the individual boxes and lost 4 berzerkers.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
