Hello all, I've been starting to get into the Warhammer40k universe again after a long break and I decided to share my work with the internet in order to get criticism on how to improve. Look forward to seeing things from the humble CSM up to a mighty titan(more on that later)! I want to start off by posting something I've been working on for some time now and would really like feedback on what Im doing right/wrong/how to improve for sculpting. This is my first major conversion project with greenstuff. I started with a 3rd edition Carnifex I had laying around, and gradually kept adding on more and more layers to bulk it up and play around with techniques. The scythe, arms, head, and parts of the wings are scratch built and almost no surface of the original Carnifex can be seen(except for the hoofs, base of wings, and the bony armor sections for the thighs). The wings are magnetized for transport purposes and in case I make another pair(really dislike how they turned out on him). Probably went a bit overboard but I had fun making it =D
Here's my Nurgle Daemon Prince unpainted:
First few paint layers:

I wanted to stay away from green for the main fleshy part, and I'm trying to get more of a bloodless pale corpse, with some bruising thrown in for flavor. Any tips on how to do this, or general color/technique suggestions would be greatly appreciated but Im more interested in how to improve my green stuff talents as I find it to be alot of fun and would greatly like to improve.
If anyone is interested in pictures of my work along the way, there's an album of pics here(WARNING: large photos, will take awhile to load)http://sleekupload.com/album/10529
