First off thank you to everyone that attended the last two Slayers as they are constantly growing and improving.
It is on Friday 25th November and it is being held as per usual at the northwest gaming centre (
http://www.northwestgamingcentre.co.uk/) and the tickets are £5. There will be a prize for first place in both systems and possibly 2nd and 3rd if their are enough people.
A rough timetable is:
18:30 - 18:50 Registration
19:00 - 20:00 Game 1
20:10 - 21:10 Game 2
21:20 - 22:20 Game 3
22:30 AWARDS
The rules in
40K are:
600pts max
You must have the standard 1
HQ and two troops.
You can have up to 1 Fast Attack OR Heavy Support
You can have up to 1 Elites
You can have an extra
HQ (Space Wolves are still only allowed two)
No Special
Hq's (unique units and upgrades are still allowed ie. Marbo and telion just not
hq's ie.Calgar)
You can have up to an extra 4 Troops
There is no model repping, conversions are allowed so long as you let your opponent know
Models dont have to painted.
Armies are to be selected from in print codexes (Sisters of battle are allowed)
Scoring system:
3pts for a win/ 1pt for a draw/ 0pt for a loss
The Scenarios:
SCENARIO 1: Dawn of War + Capture and Control
SCENARIO 2:Seize Ground + Spearhead
SCENARIO 3: Annihilation + Pitched Battle
The scenarios will be determined before each round
The rules for Warhammer Fantasy are:
1000pts max
Make the list from the normal
FoC restrictions
No Special Characters
All in-print codexes (Chaos Dwarves is allowed)
Conversions are allowed so long as you let your opponent know
Models don't have to be painted just made
The Scenario's are:
Blood and Glory
Dawn Attack
Battle Line
When dice down is called it means DICE DOWN, not ive had an unequal number of turns so i need another turn. The game stops there mid turn. You may be allowed to finish a combat or a squad shooting if you have already started rolling dice and declared it. This is because it will disrupt the timing like it it did last time and cause the event to overrun by an hour!

There will be 16 places in each system. The limit will be expanded if there are sufficient numbers
