Ok, working on some fluff for my Necron Dynasty,

Please note, i am not the worlds greatest writer, so any help would be appreciated... first off what i am happy with...

Dawn of the Rak’shar Dynasty

It was during the first exodus of Necrontyr home world that fate would first touch the destiny of the Rak’shar Dynasty. Honoured for the loyalty, the Rak’shar one of the first dynasties to leave, however, due to an unforeseen error in the navigational cogitators, the Torch ships travelled light years off course, deep into the galactic wilderness. By accident or design, the dynasty was now completely out of reach of the Homeworld.

Surrounded by the unknown & hostile alien empires The Rak’shar had no choice but to fight for survival. After many generations of unceasing war & death against the dark hordes, the ruling Phaeron finally sanctioned the widespread use of Deathmark squads to sow fear in their foes, even as the night inducing technologies of the Plasmancers turned entire battlefields to darkness. Through this unnatural night the legions of immortals stalked as gunships swept overhead; crushing all opposition in blinding fuselages of raw firepower. In this way, the Rak’shar became masters of assassination & terror.

As the power of the Triach spread over much of the galaxy, they were utterly unprepared and at first overjoyed to find a Necrontyr realm of peace & prosperity. The long lost Rak’shar had been rediscovered. Initial reports were few and far between, with most emissaries never seen again. Perturbed by these incidents, the Silent king sent another diplomatic mission lead by his own Vargard to the Crownworld of Antarra, seat of the N’carn, Phaeron of Rak’shar.

As the Silent King’s emissaries entered the gloom filled courts of the Phaeron, faint halos played about their heads as unseen Deathmarks lurking in shadowed alcoves picked their targets. Debate raged between the emissaries & the grim court of N’carn, words of peace quickly turned to veiled, until the hopes of unity were finally dashed when the Vargard of the Silent King accused N’carn of High Treason against the Triach. Silence filled the court as N’carn rose from his obsidian throne; although he hadn’t yet spoken, allowing his court to handle the proceedings; he could not ignore such a challenge. Unarmed, N’carn descending the dais, to face his accuser, he told the Vargard of the trial’s his dynasty had faced, forgotten for hundreds of year. He spoke of the betrayal of the Triach, banishing them to the darkest reaches of space. Insulted by the upstart’s words of sedition, the Vargard drew his massive warscythe to strike him down. In an apparently feebly attempt to ward off the blow, N’ran raised his arms, the unseen Trachyon arrow device erupted as the hall was swathed in darkness. Screams of terror filled the courtroom as the emissary’s heads disintegrated in a wave of fire.

Caught completely off guard; Deathmarks materialised throughout the Triach’s forces and all opposition swiftly eliminated, capturing much of the fleet in the process. Only a single small escort was able to bring word of the treachery back to the Empire. Sensing opportunity with the Triach’s attention focus elsewhere, a coalition of dynasties rose up in open rebellion, their own ambitions seeking ever more power. Instead of a swift campaign to bring one upstart dynasty to heel, the Triach now faced civil war. Thus began the first War of Secession.

next i think still need work...

The war that followed lasted an age. Despite the Triach having considerable more power, they were unable crush the secessionists. Although openly appalled at the Rak’shar’s blatant disregard of the codes of battle, the secessionists quietly employed their aid on several fronts, quietly removing enemy leaders in the midst of battle. Thus, neither side was able to gain any lasting advantages as the empire was bled dry. Fearing no end to the conflict & the destruction of their race, the Triarch sought for unity against a common foe, the Old Ones, offering amnesty to any secessionist who willingly returned to the fold.

With the promise of eternal life and a chance to rid themselves of the lesser races who had plagued them for so long, even the Rak’shar Dynasty ceased hostilities, although no one ever saw them publically submit. The official records of the time showed little of the Rak’shar Dynasty’s part in the conflict know as the War in Heaven, operating outside the Triach’s control, Phaeron N’carn committed his Deathmarks to the shadows, stalking their prey and paving the way for the armies of the Triach. Thus the Rak’shar Legions were relatively unscathed and were at the forefront in the second war of secession when the other Dynasties were on the verge of defeat.

what i am working on and not happy with...

The reign of the Triach seemed to be doomed, in this state of abject desperation, they found the C’tan. Through his intricate network of spies, the Phaeron of Rak’shar, descended from the Great N’carn, also of that name, heard the bargain spoken by the Deciever. Long had the Rak’shar dynasty be renowned for their cold heartedness

Even with their network of Spies, the Rak’shar could not hold out forever & were forced into the chamber along with the rest of their species. Unlike like the rest of the Necrontyr however, the loss of their souls affected them little, long had the dynasty been renowned for the cold heartedness and biotransference merely accentuated this trait. Although slaved to the will of the Triach, their Phaeron, descended from the Great N’carn, also of that name, retained his hatred of

Thank you in advance,
