My necrons are a large army, heavily based on troops.
In my army, I have:
40 warriors
Overlord Phaeron worth 270 points
His attendant 5 lychguard
1 monolith
1 c'tan (artillary based powers)
1 anhhialation barge
10 scrab swarms
3 heavy destroyers

My tactica is to have 4 troops of warriors, and let the fight to come to me, so that I can use my warrior's rapid fire and my lychguard's deflection. I'll use the scarabs as a screen for my warriors. I'll take out any big assault threats with my overlord. Any vehicle, I'll use the Tachyon arrow to take the big ones down. Also, my heavy destroyers will take the fight to them, along with my monolith. Any ideas on how to improve?

First off, this is the wrong section. You should be posting all this in the Tactics section. Second, I would gladly answer your question if I was more familiar with the new codex and how it worked. For now, I can tell you that scarabs as a screen for warriors is fine and all, but they really shine when taking down vehicles. Don't worry about screening the grunts so much, they can take alot of punishment.
