Here's fluff for a battle I started work on. I also plan to do a campaign for it eventually.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

An analogous battle to the Siege of Staligrad in which the Tau play the Nazi's whilst fighting what appear to be other Nazi's...? Seems okay i guess.
Incidentally there is very little fluff there...

I really need to write more.

I was actually a little worried about that. Is the Russian theme of the Sturmkrieg sector (a bit small at 110 worlds) not obvious enough there? The good thing is that it doesn't make the Tau look like the Nazis too much, because that's not what I was going for. I just wanted them to be evil aliens.

I realized the irony of having Sturmkrieg in any WWII like battles. I only use them in battle where they're more similar to the allies so I don't get involved in any of that.

It's kinda hard to make out with all the German bits...
It's like the place is mostly German with some bits of Russian, being fought over by some Germans under the command of a Russian fighting Nazi Aliens...

Ok. I think this is another sign to expand the fluff; there isn't really enough there to get a good picture of the Rotstein Sektor.
