So I did a trade with a guy here, where we both sent our stuff to each other. We both sent it the same day, and there is a 8 hour timezone jump. He got his 8 days after I sent it, which was good. But then I've been checking everyday to find it, and it has been two weeks. The guy here was very apologetic and confused as to what happened and why it is taking so long.
Its going through the US Postal System, so that means, obviously, its going to be a hassle. I went to the counter today and asked about it, and the guy told me unless they put a notice, or a key in my box they dont have it. I have no way to track it, and I'm beyond frusterated. Not at the guy here, but with the postal system and its inefficiency.

So the question is, what should I do? How worried should I be? Its coming in from Germany to Oklahoma.

If it's going across the ocean, then it could be tied up in customs. Three to four weeks is getting close to the "late" end of how long I would expect, but not completely unreasonable.

Thats what I've heard and that 3 weeks is the latter end of that.

I feel like it would've been tied up there cause of the stuff that was in there. Not only Tyranids, but a mycetic spore, which could cause suspicion hahaha

You might get in contact with the person whom you enacted the trade with and ask what they declared it as, if anything. I'm not entirely sure of how that stuff works, but I think that can have some impact on it, especially if it was especially valuable.


Worst case, I'd give it another week or two and then open an transaction report, if there is any question the legitimacy of the other party.

US Customs changed a while ago, after several mail bombs were sent. Now foreign packages are held for a certain amount of time, between several days and a couple weeks.

Okay, that helps a bit.

I'm sure the Mycetic spore is what is making it take so long.
