Hi everyone.
I'm an ex-Warhammer 40k player. I stopped following GW since they announced finecast models 'cause I hate plastic kits, but my addiction to wargames (like a lot of people here i guess ) is devouring me, so surfing a bit I found Privateer Press' Warmachine and Hordes.

Beautiful models, little larger scale, i said: Perfect!

But Privateer's press is a bit cryptic... They do not explicitely tell if the models come on plastic or metal kits in many products. I guess there are basically a lot of metal models with the plastic exception where specified (which are all NEW releases! that's bad...) is the curse of finecast following me?

Now... before starting the army (i have to buy everything online because there is no distribution where i live) I'd like to understand better PP's position about plastic kits and future development.

Is it worth, for me plastic-model-hater, to start playing warmachine? Please illuminate me

thanks a lot

Welcome to Dakka!
PP produces a lot of metallic models, but is now moving into resin. 70% of their products are still metal, so if you start now you can get an full metal army.
