Some pictures would be nice. And any reason you called the army "Anonymous Miss"?

I'll definitely add some pictures. I went for the Anonyma title since most of the army groups in my fluff are all named after important leaders and commanders, while this one and a few like it are not. I called it Fräulein since it has a large number of all female stormtrooper squads. Fräulein is actually not a translation of miss. I'm pretty sure it's actually untranslatable. As soon as I'm in a place where I have enough space and I have good lighting, I'll take pictures.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

I believe Fraulein is synonymous with Miss or Ma'am, used similarly to the German word, Herr meaning Mister or Sir.

Considering I grew up in a German speaking country, and am fluent in the language, I feel quite certain of my translation. Also, consider that while your flag indicates you're currently in the US, my flag indicates I am in Austria, which is also a German-speaking country.

Incidentally, Fräulein is only used for Miss. Frau is a better translation of Ma'am.

well, here in germany you dont really use "fräulein" at all. People did so till the 70s or maybe even 80s i think.... But not now really.....

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

Yes. Frâulein is considered politically incorrect where Miss is not. Miss also cannot be a noun.

I hear fraeulein here about as frequently here as I did Miss back in the US, ie. not all that often but you aren't treated to hostile glares either. I don't know whether rabid feminists are significantly more prevalent in Germany, but here in Austria it is not considered insulting, in general.

From everything I've heard, it's no longer considered politically correct in Germany; my understanding of it is that it means "little woman," which is pretty understandable. Apperetly in Spanish countries, men who work in resteraunts are referred to as "young man," reguardless of their age. In the US, young man and young woman might be considered slightly informal, and might (depending on context) carry other implications. I'm aware of what "young woman" means in German.

I think that Fräulein would work for 40k for that reason, which would help the grimdark aspect for my army. The rank of Sturmmädel isn't exactly really formal either.
