Hello All,
I have been lurking for a while and have started to check out 3rd company sites (PSC, Game models, ect...) and I am confused because I see 15mm and 1/72 scales. Which scale is FoW? What are the acceptable scales for models used in FoW?

Thank you for any help.

Flames of War is intended for 15mm miniatures, that is, close to 1/100 scale. The only exception is that the aircraft Battlefront sells are 1/144, but some people use 1/100 aircraft instead. It doesn't really matter that much with planes. They aren't much more than markers and don't stay on the table for long.

Welcome fellow flames of Newbie,1/72 scale is roughly 20mm,,as you know Battle front models are 15mm.But their is alot of good models out their for alternative companies.one of my new third party minatures favorite is the old glory command decision models. The way i see it they are just as good of infantry as the battle front models and one heck of alot cheaper 15 dollars for 50 men( rite now holiday sale for nine) you cant that beat for vanilla infantry. What i have done is used their models mixed with the Battle front commanders.I just have not tried their armor out yet. but i will find out soon i bought a three pack of tiger tanks with Porsche turrets.Welll good luck and happy gaming.
