Hi all... I've been visiting these forums from time to time and thought I'd finally sign up. I used to collect Ultramarines and Guard as a kid but I moved on to other things as I got older because of other interests and the unfortunate stigma attached to the hobby or grown men and toys in general lol. I have stayed interested despite not actually collecting over the years and the hobby has always had a fond place in my heart. My house mate is 40k crazy and I played a few games with him and really enjoyed it. I'm at a point in my life where I don't care what people think I just do what makes me happy and 40k does that so i'm collecting guard again and Ive been spending way to much money (damn you forgeworld). I have just ordered a Crassus (please I already know how badass it is I have seen the memes and the thread lol) and hopefully it will turn up tomorrow. I have a load of stuff to make and paint but my priority is making at the moment so I can play without proxying with my house mates damn Blood Angels (I have yet to beat them and hate them with passion lol and now hes collecting Grey Knights to..... ), He is quite maths hammmer in his approach but I prefer the rule of cool and thinking up tactics to make less impressive units more viable. Win or lose I just enjoy seeing my painted miniatures in action on an interesting table. I'm going to get stuff painted up over christmas and I will hopefully get some pics uploaded. I looking forward to joining the discussions.

Cheers!

I did the same thing ogryn. Decided that getting laid, drinking and drugs was better. Now I have kids and a soon to be wife that excepts my hobby. I'm just very glad I never got the need to sell them.

Hi,
