New to this site. I've played quite a few game systems in my day including Warhammer.

And now I've put some of my battles on a website (well more like a fan page on facebook until the main site goes live) the link is:

www.Battlebook.com Keep history alive...One battle at a time.

The idea is to help gamers recreate battles in miniature (granted it has an historical bent) but if you have a battle that you've created share it with us or tell us if there is a battle you want to do and we'll see if we can help build your scenario. We also have a game mechanic (Fire & Maneuver) to aid in the heroic endeavor.

I am very much in favor of this however a battle can only be played out so many times. I would recommend adding a non historical section.

Cannot wait for the sites launch

Benjamin385,

You are on the right track.

In fact many of the gamers in my group are Fantasy and Sci-Fi players and they have often asked for my help in building scenarios for their interests such as Star Ship Troopers, and some have even suggested a Godzilla vs. Green Plastic Army Tanks.

FIRE & MANEUVER is a mechanic that uses an exponential scale so if Godizilla can shoot his flaming breath 400 yards, then his max range is designed by taking the square root of 400 = 20 incnes (don't let the math scare you cuz, it is only used in the build phase.)

Heck one can use the command and control (Command Currency) and simple Logistics with Warhammer 40K without interrupting the flow (Heresy, i know.)

My motto is "Play with whatever you got in the Toy Box" especially in this economy. If your nephew has some Cowboys and Indians in his toy box, then set them up on the dining room table and go at it (shouldn't take long to build the scenario.)

Visit the photo albums section on www.battlebook.com to preview the first few pages of the F&M primer.

Cheers.
