Talking about these kits,
I have got several now and have assembled them for two ongoing projects (mainly to see if I can make a Flames of War style game using 15mm/20mm Star Wars miniatures from the old Wizards of the Coast using Tie Bombers,
AT-
ST's and storm troopers as infantry.) Using the Booster packs, I am amassing a large number of Rebel and Imperial Army guys and selling on the characters I have zero interest in.
Anyway I'd like to say I was pleased with the kits, good quality and not badly painted. I will be airbrushing these and doing them justice as they are alittle too basic for me. That said given their cost £5 - £6 each you can buy a fair fleet relatively cheaply.
My only, and actually quite strong gripe is the lack of any kind of scale within the pocket models, each is different, and it doesn't display what scale it is, so you end up working through calculations based on it's dimensions. It's a pity as I would happily pay more for a model that is bigger and less for a smaller one, I can see why they have done it, so the whole range is the same price.
The X-wing is about 10mm scale, where as the Tie Interceptor is more like 20mm or even 25mm.
Anyone got any advice or where you can get 20mm Scale Star Wars Models? I have looked and looked, but seem to have drawn a blank.
