This should be a fun day at the Bowie Battle Bunker. Saturday, January 7, 2012
Time:
10:00am until 10:00pm
Where:
The Bowie Bunker, of course!
Description
We have tons of events going on all day long!
- Giant Fantasy & 40K games
- Mini Games: Wizard duels, Psyker battles, and Artillery Ranges
- Speed Painting contest (completed and judged on the 7th)
- Team Painting contest (completed and judged on the 7th)
- Conversion contest (brought in unprimed & unpainted, to be judged on the 7th)
- Prizes!!!!!!!!!!
- Bring friends--the more the merrier! Extra goodies for people who bring new faces!
And regarding other upcoming activities: It's Monday of the New Year and we've got lots of events coming up this January!! First up is our Bowie Bunker New Year's Bash this weekend (7th)! On the 14th we have a Fantasy Tournament (2000pts)! On the 21st the Bowie Bunker will be participating in the "World's Biggest Apocalypse Game". Bring in as many points as you can from your favorite army as we try to reach the goal of 1,000,000pts worldwide! Finally, we have a Warpstone Painting Competition on the 28th of January. Paint up a General and two units of core for Fantasy, or an HQ and two troops for 40K and bring them in on the 28th for judging!
Stop by the Bunker to sign up for these awesome events and/or learn more about what's happening in the upcoming year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Agreed!
I'm in range of this store, but unfortunately work in the opposite direction, so can only feasibly make it for weekend events (and am committed this Saturday).
