OK, I've had a thought

The current LOTR rule book was originally made up with several army lists, and profiles however with new releases and so what new Source and journey books were released with new rules, but with the Source books being discontinued leaving only the rule book and journey book will a new rule book be released with the hobbit with all the source books profiles be added to the rule book if one is released by GW?

I suppose it's a possibility. I think that it will depend upon whether interest in the LOTR range grows up to the release of the Hobbit. But with GW recently renewing it's licence with New Line Cinema (IIRC), I wouldn't rule it out.

I would love for them to combine the source books into one. Alternatively, I would like for them to re-release all of them.

Edit: I should clarify that that's just a wishlist. I think that it is likely that they will put out one (possibly several) new source book for the Hobbit, and then release something having to do with the battle of five armies. Also, some cool new models. Woot for new dwarf sculpts.

I'd also like to know if there's been any news about this. The journey books are becoming difficult to find, and there are some profiles in there I'd like to use, however, don't have the point cost for them (stats were luckily given by GW).

On a side note, anyone know the point cost for a Rohan Outrider?

i'm tight with two of the guys who work at a gw near me. and they've both mentioned it in passing, but couldn't tell me any details(damn confidentiality agreements).
