The guy who usually runs the tournaments at our LGS is no longer doing it. Some kind of conflict with the owner. Anyways, he was also the one who owned the scoring software, so that's gone now also. Anyways we have had one tournament since then and it was a mess. The store only has one employe at the moment that actually cares about 40k, even though it equates to a large portion of the business. He however doesn't work saturdays, so they let an idiot run it. Standard missions from the BRB, randomly rolled for so all three deployment/missions are used. Was horrible. They used kill points to score it. Normal KP rules and objectives captured being worth 3. The eldar player that won all 3 of his games came in 2nd while I won with 2-W 1-tie. Shameful. Is there a way to score the normal missions more accurately than this? The only software I can find is for MTG or Flames! Hell, even scoring this on paper would be better. Soft scores don't matter, as no one wants to judge paintjobs sadly. I can't judge as I compete. Please, any help would be great.
