After the battle of macragge a dozen bio-ships fled the massacre. As if the hive mind was trying to punish the traitors It cast the shadow of the warp over Its own kin. The strong psychic influence opened a warp hole that imediatly sucked in the vessels. Ironicly they materialised close to the remanants of hive fleet tiamet. The desperate ships began harvesting anything they could find even metal. The result was horrific mutants with slightly rusty mettalic carpace and bio-weapons.
