Battlecult are proud to present Beyond the Call of Duty, a 1500/1750pt 40k tournament to be held at our regular venue in the Holiday Inn Bristol. Entrants will play 4 games in a single day, 2 at 1500pts and 2 at 1750pts for a bit of hardcore 40k action!

Full details can be found in the rulespack - tickets are priced at £15 for four games over the day, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as Best Army.

There are 40 places available and all the usual arrangements with Cut and Thrust (a MASSIVE 25% off for all attendes!) and the Holiday Inn apply so cheap toys and cheap accommodation are on offer - check the rulespack for more details.

As much as we like the 4 lads on the list we could do with a little more by way of entrants - if you haven't done this type of event before it's similar in concept to a Warmachine Hardcore, it's a draining but rewarding experience to bust through 4 games in a day! You can see photos of our Lightning Strike and soon our Cloudburst Fantasy events on our Facebook page to get an idea of the venue and terrain etc. and remember that we still have a huge pile of 40k terrain that we're madly working on to satisfy all your LoS blocking needs

I'm quite keen in principle as I think i can just about manage it in a day from Shrewsbury on the train. I'll see what the score is for landing that Saturday off work.

Tempting... for the same sorts of reasons as blood and slaughter... can do it on a day return train ticket from Tewkesbury... certainly something to think about... and maybe the motivation i need to finish painting an army lol

Can I just confirm with you that the date is fixed and is unlikely to be altered for any reason (like because it's the same day as a - admittedly Warhammer, not 40K -Throne of Skulls...). Assuming that's the case I'll go ahead and book the day off if I can but I just need to be sure as it's hard to change Saturdays once booked.

Up to 14 now - good going but we want more! Remember that you qualify for the massive 25% discount from Cut and Thrust by attending so if you want to start a new army for 6th ed that might well be the best way to do it!
