So i've finagled a hall pass from the missus to attend the FoW late war tourney at GhengisCon here in Denver.

So I'm brushing off my late war Finnish Sturmi company. give me thoughts on this 1500 points.

Option A

heavy anti-tank platoon (2 50 PstK/38s) (CV)

I like the feel of this best...armor, infantry, anti-armor, smoke arty. Little light if I run into "big cats" or thier equiv.

Pioneeri platoon + truck (cv)

Not as crazy about this one...has more armor punch with the pioneers, but looses the rifle/mg of the jalkavaki.

Either way, I'll be a painting fool for the next couple weeks.

When is the event?

I am not up to snuff on my Finns. I've had a few buddies look into them, but ended up going with other lists in favour of them.

Are these off an online army brief, or from one of the army books?

Event is Feb 17th and the list I will be using is the pdf via Battlefronts website. Grey Wolf has a new listing, but I don't have the book to use yet.

Of course I have also realized I can bump the arty down from 105s to 76 K/02s. I lose the abilty to possibly damage arty, but I pick up 70 points. That would give me some other options, namely possibly picking up some aircraft to tackle the big cats.

Guess I will playtest some stuff this Sat.
