Ok cool thought i was the only one on dakka to play

If you ever get into the multiplayer my name is Loken look out for me. Its a lot harder online but good fun having duels againt real people. Go on the server 22n_legion I think its called you can have up to 120 players a side.

Sure, I played the hell out of it for a while.

Yeah i played it for a long while then modded it and played for even longer. I didn't like fire and steel nearly as much as the mods i had for warband were better.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

"Fire and Steel" doesn't pique my interest, but "Warbands" (which was basically Mount & Blade 1.5) is awesome.

Didn't play much of the campaign there as I already did so in the original M&B, but I certainly spent many a battle in multiplayer.
Either as a Nord barbarian with throwing axes, round shield and short sword, or as a Swadian foot soldier with crossbow and pike, depending on which factions were available on the map.

There also was a hilariously funny Star Wars mod that had you wage an interstellar war with Stormtroopers, speeder bikes and blasters.
