The demo is out on Xbox live and presumably PS3 and PC.
I've just finished playing it extensively with some Dakkanaughts.
What do people think?
I love it. The game is challenging on Normal but not too hard, hard requires skill and teamwork and the next level of difficulty isn't on the demo AFAIK. The Breaching mechanic adds a nice level to the game also giving much more teamwork options.
My favorite load out is the SMG with backfire and the chip upgrades on the far right.

As I was saying while we were playing, it needs three things changed;

1) Needs to stop freezing

2) It needs a way to mark a target (Yes, there is an ability in there, but you have to unlock it).

3) Needs more playable characters. The only one I'm really impressed with is the dude Kan always plays with.

I agree with 3 especially...
The French chick and the goth chick aren't so bad but the juggernaut is pretty unimpressive.
The captain is okay as well but none of them would be my first choice...
1 is probably just a demo glitch.

There's definitely potential here for a good game, and that's from a demo for a game releasing at the end of this month.

My preorder money is quite well-spent it seems.

I haven't played the demo but saw some trailers and it looked pretty neato. Kind of reminded me of Brink....man I thought that game was gonna be so cool, boy was I wrong.

Pretty good. Check out the demo if you want to get a feel for it; but be warned that you will need a full group(or at least 3 people for the first try) to go.

PC demo isn't out until Feb 21st. I will wait un-patiently until then.

Played the demo with nick yesterday, not all that impressed, a lot of stuff felt really clunky. The only thing in the game that I really like so far is the mjolnir assault shotgun... Belt fed shotgun? Yes please!

Yeah, I've been going in with a Shotgun, Flanking the gak out of things.

I'm getting a lot better, and don't have to be rezzed that much anymore!

I don't get the clunky feel.
Some stuff does feel odd like the grenades but i have too much fun playing that game to really be put off by that...
