For me? Well today it's definitely Medal of Honor: Frontline, if I had my PS2 with me I'd go and play through it right now, now that I've been stupid enough to listen to the soundtrack again

But it's not just old games that invoke nostalgia, I think Crysis 2 has a splendid sountrack:

But since when has Hans Zimmer ever gotten anything wrong?

How about you, other Dakkaites? What games do you want to play again just from listening to their soundtracks?

Anything by Jeremy Soule.

Touche I enjoyed the Baldurs Gate 2 soundtrack too.

This was the best song I felt made me weep a bit that the game ended

Anything from Frank Klepacki.

Halo OST's.

Castle Crashers OST.

It's only a few, cause most of the time while gaming, I'm playing my own music.

It isn't even remotely related to the game, but hearing "The Sky Was Pink" by Nathan Fake immediately makes me think of a specific level from Ratchet: Deadlocked.
And then I remember how much fun I had playing that game.

That's like hearing System of a Down for me. Immediately think of playing Summoner.

I'm gonna add to that and say that this one is what did it for me. Cid's Theme seems to make anything instantly more epic.

It doesn't have any particular theme that defines it, but I find Abe's adventures to be pretty ahead of it's time in the music department.

Pandemonium needs to be re-released with and HD update. Brilliant wee game.

I thought of another one, If I hear any songs from the album "Surfing The Void" by The Klaxons, I immediately think of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, because I got both of them at the same time as a reward for my GCSE results.
And then spent the remaining fortnight of the summer holidays playing the game whilst listening to the album on repeat.

Nostalgic? PS1 startup, definitely. Pokemon Blue/Red startup theme. Crash Bash theme. Some of the MW2 music is great. Jak 2 Haven city theme as well. Some of the soundtrack to Tony Hawks pro skater 2...

I need to get a working PS2. Now.
