In M40.999 Daemonic forces under the rule of the Terrible Bloodthirster Ka'badha set course for the Blood Angels home world of Baal Secondus. To add to this Tyranid forces from Hive fleet Behemoth are set to collide with Baal. Seeing a Major war on two fronts the Blood Angels chapter master, Lord Commander Dante requested the aid of any and all Imperial forces to aid them in their defence. Over thirty chapters have lent aid and twice as many Imperial Guard regiments. The stage is set for quite possibly the Blood Angels final battle. Will they survive or will they become but a memory?

Day 1
28:50 Hours

The men are scared, I can't blame them. Poor Basterds have been to Hell and back in the Emperor's service. After what they've been through I'm surprised they're still living. But after all they're Elysian and they've got the training for it. I've told the commissars to go easy on them, let them have a little rest. The Chaos freaks under the benevolent leadership of Kha'Bandha. Vile Daemon will pay and the Elysian 97th will make sure of that.
The tyranids are even scarier, who wouldn't be afraid of those hideous creatures. But we have nothing to fear for we have the Angels of Death at our side. A full 30,000 of them and with numbers like that we'll never lose.
