Hi All,

Brand new to FoW, and US Airborne is what I'd like to make my primary army. What books would I find more information on how I can set my army up? I have Hell's Highway, is there more or am I restricted to just that book? I'm primarily thinking Late War.

I've recently traded for Brit and German armies, so I'll have some practice ones in the meantime.

Thanks for helping a new guy out!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I play U.S para also. For books i suggest Turning tide it has a more up to date stuff than D Day -1 has.But you have the best book for them in my opinon. That is because i am a fan of Operation Market Garden history. You just may want the other books for American divisional support, instead of British.I run the list from the Turning tide book for our games.

Thanks Kenny, now I know I'm limited to a couple of books with the army. I'll need to think about that.

Col. KK has spoken my words for me. The best book, IMO, and from US AB players I know, is go with Turning Tide. Some very good lists.

However, if your looking for a mixed force, the next best alternative is Hells Highway.

I will warn you about mixed force lists...you quickly find yourself playing a new army!

Sure, it starts out simple enough...a unit of brit shermans and fireflys here, some brit 25 pounders there....all of a sudden you realize yer one blister of brit infantry and another box of armor away from a guards list!

Mixed forces...they are the gateway drug to army creep!

I was starting to notice that pattern, Shotgun!

That is a good and bad thing. I agree it is costly though.
