My latest project. These are Zvesda trucks and Battlefront gun teams, additional crew are Peter Pig miniatures. They've been magnetised so that I can use them on their trucks or on foot (as allowed by their portee rule).

Zvesda trucks cost me £2.70 and the gun crew cost me £1.80 for at total of £4.50 per truck. All the other parts are leftovers from assorted projects (.75mm plasticard and neodymium magnets).

The picture is a bit ropey so I'll try to upload a better one when I have better light. The paint job is very much work in progress.

Have you tested them as ersatz MGs yet?

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio

Not yet. My Soviets are still recovering from the 'Red Bear' purges. Just as soon as I've replaced my Plastic Soldier infantry company they'll be ready for battle again.

In the event that the Fascists (you ) don't bring Jabos they'll make a fine fire brigade for the infantry and since they're packing .50 cals they can deal with (lightly) armoured opponents like gepanzert panzergrenadiers, armoured cars and the new scourge of Fascist FlaKwagens acting as ersatz MGs.

I've been using Flak as ground fire all along. It just got more realistic is all.

I don't get any Jabo's :(
