I am just wondering if anyone knows a definitive date that the Adepticon Championship Primer Scenarios will be released (or if they will be released at all).

We are planning our next event and plan to make use of them.

Thanks for your help, guys.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that you're going to see any of the 2012 Adepticon scenarios until Adepticon. Generally, you can pull their old scenario sheets from their web page and practice with those along with the latest tournament rules.

Adepticon is less than 2 months away now, I can't wait!

You're right, we will not see the scenarios until the event.

What they have done in the past is release "primer" scenarios so that people can practice and get a feel for how the current year's event might run. As a store manager and TO, I have found them a great help preparing my players for the event.

I was wondering if anyone knew if / when they were going to make the primer scenarios for this year public.

I believe they're running a little late this year. :(

I don't expect the Championship missions to deviate significantly from the philosophy of last year's - you can likely expect each mission to include a board control condition (table quarters, seize ground style objectives, hold terrain pieces - things like that) and a "kill the enemy" condition (KPs, VPs, kill all Troops, etc.). The third condition will vary, and usually could be assigned to one of those categories (kill the HQ, hold the center of the board).

Last year's missions are a good place to start.

This is correct. All the major changes to the rules for this event took place last year and the mission format will be similar to 2011. Last year we released a document containing all the possible mission objectives, but they were not formatted into actual missions. This was done on March 24th, so just a couple of weeks prior to the event. You might see something like this again this year and a bit sooner.

That said, the 2011 missions are the best place to start and will get you 85% of the way there.

Complete rules, 2011 missions and all that good stuff can be found here.

The 2012 Gladiator Primer missions have been posted, and the 40K Team Tournament ones should be up after March 3rd.

The Dev Blog has been, and will be, very active over the next month or so. There will be a post detailing the minor/major changes in the 40K Team Tournament and possibly something discussing the 40K Champs, although aside from Sportsmanship scoring, not much has changed.

Do you happen to have a link to said document? I was looking for it earlier this year, and couldn't locate it (I couldn't remember which of you had posted it in the first place).

I've got the link. I had it in my Adepticon 2011 saved files.
