Evening all,
I have played a few games and have seen the rule book and have one on order,however I do have a few questions I need clarifying.

1)what needs to roll a 5 and 6 to hit a small ship.
2)what do rockets need to hit a target?
3)what do torpedos need to hit a target?

torpedoes hit on a 4/5/6
not sure about rockets,
to hit on only a 5/6 you have to be a capital ship shooting at a small ship

Rockets hit on a 4,5, and 6 as well, unless you are a capital class model targeting a model with the Small Target MAR.

"elusive target" makes smalls hit you on a 5+ too.

Nothing affects medium non-capitals though so go go bombers!!

There's also one of the LOS blocking situations that makes you roll all dice but hit on 5's and 6's I believe.
