Hey guys,

I just got started into Warhammer 40k. I started a Grey Knight army and am hoping to build it up into a playable force. I live in Greencastle, Indiana and work in Terre Haute, Indiana. A buddy and me are looking for games in the area to learn how the game is played. We are starting small and going from there. So I guess my questions are is there anyone in the area that plays and knows of games? Also, are the Grey Knights a good army to run with? I chose them because of their link to Space Marines and the toughness of them. Well take care and hope to hear from you.

Welcome to Dakka!

Many people see Grey Knights as overpowered, so you definitely picked a good army

Welcome to Daki Dak!

I've had fun playing against the Grey Knights, stubborn buggers , but ive noticed that they have trouble against horde armies so plan accordingly! Hunt down more info throughout Dakka and enjoy!

Grey Knights, from what people say, are very good on the tabletop, but you have to think about your moves since there are not as many models. Keep searching the forum for more tips and such, and welcome to Dakka!
