Wazzap people, the name's masterofThardus. Yes, I do have a real name to go with the screenname, but...I'm not really one to put it online in all but the rarest cases.

I'm a (relatively) new convert to the world of Warhammer. I've known a little of it for quite a while, but it wasn't until this year that I really got into it. I love the depth of the lore, the video games (particularly Dawn of War 2 as well as its two expansions, both of which I own), and I'm slowly but surely reading more of the books involved with 40k. Regrettably, I have neither the time nor the money to really get into the miniatures, nor do I know much about using them in the first place, but I consider myself relatively knowledgable in WH lore (though certainly not as much as 40k veterans), and a significant WH-related hobby of mine is writing fanfiction about it...usually as crossovers. I'm a huge fan of "what if" situations and discussions involving Warhammer, whether it involves the discovery of Dark Age-era tech, alternate universes, crossovers, or a host of other things. I do have to say, though, that I'm completely clueless about Warhammer Fantasy.

In terms of races, as I stated above, I don't own any miniatures, and as such I have no physical "armies" to speak of. I have made a custom Space Marine Chapter with the Bolter and Chainsword online army painter, the Black Hands, but that's about it. As for favourites...it's hard to say. I guess my group of favourites are the Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, and Orks, but it is difficult to narrow it down from there.

As said above, I have rather eagerly adopted writing WH40k fanfictions, although I was writing fanfictions for other games/books/universes before I became acquainted with Warhammer. At the moment, I am actually writing two fictions that involve Warhammer.

...I probably shoulda said this first...but, my location (without being too specific) is the good ol' US of A.

At any rate, I'll see ya 'round on the forum. Peace!
