Two models i threw together as sort of "concept" models for my world eaters army. Im using the Space wolves codex to represent them. Essentailly, these two are a Chosen/Skull Champion and a Possessed. The Chosen counts as a Wolf guard with power fist, while the Possessed is a grey hunter with Mark of the Wulfen.

The general idea for the chosen is ornate armour or Helmets, Trophy racks (I'm considering giving this guy more before he goes to paint). Hes a wolf Guard with power fist.

Your thoughts Are appreciated!

So, thats the wolf guard dude painted (backpack and base arent finished yet, though)

I had someone teaching me during this, He taught me how to highlight and shade, so this model is my first attempts at both (untill now, i havent been higlighting because i was too afraid to try and fail. yeah im weird like that)

I realize, i didn't thin my initial coats. My friend who showed me the stuff tonight helped me figure out how to properly thin paint (if you can believe it, i was doing it wrong. Apparently i'm dumb too )

Also, tonight marks my first ever game win (with Dark Eldar)! So yay me!

Looks good, I really like it (and don't worry, my first attempts included not thinning the paint, not using shades and highlights "what? let's natural light do that for me!" and didn't cleaned mould lines at all)

And good luck on your game

I won it. 400 point combat patrol game.

I managed to make his GKs jump out of their razor back and take them out with my incubi, then he tank shocked my wyches, failed leadership so they ran away into combat with some purifiers, whom the proceed to completely decimate. 5 wyches vs 5 purifiers, and killed them completely.

4++ save in CC saved my butt

The Royal Tunbridge Wells

i like the scheme so far, but the gold on the mask looks a little out of place and is lacking depth. i would expand the area it covers (maybe greenstuff a border for it?) and hit it with a devlan mud wash

The gold on the mask wasnt my idea, honestly. The person teaching me suggested it to make the mask pop against the armour, since he saw the helmet as a focal point on the model. Maybe if I expand it to cover the front of the helmet?

I say leave it like that, colorwise. Perhaps a wash will make the mask's bars stand out more.

I've decided to make this into a project log. I'll ask a mod to move it.

Here's an update. I now have a full squad of berserkers. My first full squad since i started the hobby! I should have some more photos of the unpainted squad later tonight, but here's two dual wielding berserkers in the mean time.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The first squad is done! TO start, group shots :

the first two berserkers i ever made (however, the one running is not my paintjob.)

two dudes, one regular and one with a plasma gun.

and lastly, a bro in Mk3 armour. i gave him a chainsowrd and chainaxe, and replaced the backpack vents with skulls.

I been working quite hectically, and have a full 2 squads of berserkers to paint now, and i have a havoc.

On the right is the possessed (mark of the wulfen) for the second squad, and on the left, is probably my best conversion to date, An autocannon havoc with a autocannon built out of ork, choas, and fantasy bits.

C&C appreciated
