Anyone out there playing this? I really like the idea of epic scale battles that don't take an entire weekend. I picked up the Strategic Ops PDF along w/2 25th Anniversary box sets (got them for basically BOGO) so I've got plenty of models. The book is a MONSTER at 500 pages but it seems like the core of the game is only about 30 pages.

Regular Battletech is great. It's just getting too hard to do sizable battles though that don't take all day.

Look at Quick Strike first. Far less complex then Battleforce, and still a huge pile of fun.
