It does come out to an odd number of platoons (7), but I'm not sure what to change.

The heavy AT guns are fairly vulnerable, but they're cheap for what they do.

Thoughts?

I'm not too well versed on german lists (US player) but you seem to cover all your bases here, some AA, some recon, cheap template, something to deal with heavies and some good tanks

Props for not running panthers like everyone else

For those remaining 5 points You can add Famo Recovery half-track. I would not say that Hornisse is cheap - only Ferdinand (Elephant) is more expensive than this. And You have no infantry to protect their flank armor - my suggestion would be motorised pioneers, but I am not an expert yet.

Btw, Your list in HQ, Combat platoons and AA mirrors mine Grety Wolf Panzer list (I also took only 4 panzers per platoon, because I have two PSC boxes), except that my 7/1s are softskins. I see that You already have NW battery (read - stationary stands), so would not it be more practical to take anti-tank gun platoon with PAK40s? It would save You some points as well.

Definintely possible to take PaK 40s, but they aren't really reliable at denting heavy tranks (they're good against armor 8, but against 9 or better they start having issues). I liked the Hornisse for the AT 16 and stupid-long range.

I do see the point of having infantry around, so I was going to play around with getting some stands in. I was primarily looking at Panzergrenadiers or Fallschirmjagers. I'm not too keen on the Pioneers as they only get 4 stands or clock in at 265 points for 7 stands.

Panzergrenadiers come in at a much lower price and Fallschirmjagers come with 10 stands at the same price and are also fearless.

Yeah, but Fallshirmjaegers got that Reich Divided issue. Did You consider Panzergrenadiers in trucks or half-tracks (GPG)? I am leaning towards the armored version.

In this case the only issue with Reich Divided is that the HQ independent teams can't join then. Which isn't huge, I think, as I want the 1iC and 2iC hanging out with the Panzer Platoons. Also looked at the Panzergrenadiers in trucks. The half-tracks are nice, but are pricey.
