Imperial Recruit in Training
Fort Worth, Texas

Well my first introduction was kind of weird and I only got responses from people saying it was kinda weird. I edited out the weird part though, you are no longer able to find it. Since then, I've had very limited activity on the forums, so I decided to redo my intro and get going.
So I am 13, 14 on the 8th, and have been playing since april 8 last year. I started out with the AOBR starter set on my birthday, and then painted everything badly and lost the Dreadnought somehow. A little while later I decided I wanted to play Tau. I bought one crisis battlesuit and decided I didn't like Tau, but I wasn't sure which army to choose for a long time. Eventually, in August 2011, I on a heritage trip to Scotland, and I visited a Games-Workshop for the first time on the Royal Mile. I bought some paints and a Cadian shock troop kit and a full array of citadel brushes, and lastly an IG codex. From there, I continued collecting Imperial guard, getting a Basilisk and a Leman russ (which I outfitted as an eradicator) for Christmas 2011 and collecting 3 Cadian shock troop kits, an a command squad. I plan on collecting literally as many Shock Troops as possible and then I will think about more tanks. I also went to New Orleans on Spring Break and visited the WWII museum there and found Flames of War miniatures in their gift shop. Long story short, I bought a Soviet infantry HQ and a T-34 tank. I have been trying for months to get to the comic store near me where they sell Games-Workshop products and have Killteam tournaments each Sunday. Unfortunately, my family is very involved at church and I can never seem to get there. Anyway, I have some good experience painting, and no experience playing. I use Reaper and GW paints whenever I paint, but will likely switch utterly to Reaper or VIllejo soon. Now I have recently decided that one day I will collect a Dark Angels army and then graduate into Warhammer Fantasy and collect a Wood Elf kinband. Anyway, I will start posting pictures hopefully soon. For now, does anyone know about any 40k gaming clubs in or around the East side of Fort Worth, Texas? Besides the Lone Star Comics chain (the afore mentioned comic store). Sorry about any typos, my keyboard is glitching up today for some reason.

The answer to everything Lord Commisar, Is cheese. You can run the tanks on melted cheese. You could feed to troops cheese. You could build bases with cheese. We can repel the aliens and traitors with cheese. We can defend the Imperium with cheese. |
