I just had my three team mates (all from the same family) tell me they can't make it to Chicago for Adepticon. I am still going and have paid for a slot in the team tournament (Vegas 4). I was wondering if there are three people who would like to get together with me and play in the tournament? I am bringing Necrons and will arrive in Chicago on Thursday the 19th. I would like to be able to play on Saturday, since I already paid for the slot, and would just like to get a group together to have fun playing. Let me know if you are interested and we can coordinate our lists and when to meet.

Im currently "between armies", but I can spread the word round the Milwaukee area if you still need people.

We got our 4th player on Friday. Vegas 4, Came in 18th overall, and 3rd in battlepoints. Had a blast.

Getting to play with you guys was one of the best things I have ever gotten to do. Man that was fun. For an adhoc team with no theme we really did well.

Nicely done! Al, you are a killer. Glad you and Justin got to play in arguably the best (and inarguably the biggest) 40k event in the US.

Hey do I get a recruiting fee for setting you up with Bikeninja from our club BNB? When I ran into Justin on thursday he mentioned you guys needed someone. I played Justin a few years ago and over the past few years enjoyed talking to him so I told Bikeninja he should play with you guys. Friday rolled around and it was about noon and ran into Justin again and he said you guys still did not have anyone. I was surprised that at that point you were still missing a player. Bikeninja was nearby so I told Justin to go over to him because he was interested and if you offered him a doughnut you would have him for life Glad it worked out for you guys!! Next year give us some of those Battle points you guys racked up. This year we got 10th BNB remix but we were light on battle points.

You guys must have tied Dakka Detachment 1 for battle points, then, right? (I think 178 or so?)

I'm guessing I've met you guys in-person, too, since you seem to be part of the Showcase Comics crew (although having just restarted 40k, I've only been up there for the fantasy events. Hopefully will make the 40k ones soon once I have my Adepticon team tourney army painted up to 2k points )

Hi guys, this is John from Vegas. I had a blast playing in the team tournament with all of you! For just meeting each other on Friday and having totally different armies we all did an excellent job. Let's stay in touch and plan to get together for next years tournament.
