Here's my 250 point semi competitive Haradrim list.

Suladan + Horse 100

6x Haradrim raiders with war spears, bows 78
6x Haradrim raiders with war spears 72

What i;d honestly suggest. Is dropping the war spears off the bow cavalry and making all the other group of raiders Serpent riders. Maximising on poison, and you get some Ft4

Or you could just drop Suladin for a normal Harad king with horse, bow and warspear and still have the points to upgrade all the Warspear only raiders to serpent riders. Giving you the maximum amount of hitting power. Would leave you with 14pts left over though. Or you could go with harad chieftain with horse, warspear and bow and fit in a banner.

Looks alright, but I only thought that Haradrim infantry was covered by the 50% bow limit.

Nope, raiders are covered too. Everything Harad is covered. harad warriors/raiders, serpent guard/raiders, abrakhan guard and watchers of karna. Kinda annoyed that you can't give harad raiders the warriors of karna upgrade though. So foot archers will always have that advantage.

Calvary heavy Harad? Looks promising. You should definitely throw in some Serpent Riders.

I agree with what has been said so far, drop Suladan for a King/chieftan and a few riders and replace them with serpent guard.

Harad King W/ horse, bow, warspear 80

warband 1: 162pts
6 Abrakhan Raiders W/ Bows, warspears.
6 Serpent Riders

total: 142

Or

Harad King W/ Horse, Warspear 75

Warband 1: 173
6 Harad Raiders W/ Bow
1 Harad raider w/ banner
5 Serpent Riders

total: 248.

Either way you're can;t fit in more than 12 warriors. Those two lists i gave offer different things really, the top list is more of a balanced hitting list with all your archers also with lances for more versatility along with the King having both bow and lance. Plus, all the bow and spear raiders have C4.

The bottom list sacrifices balance in favor of including a banner. Personally i'd rather use the top list as it allows for more varied plays.

But the important thing is both lists maximise on the 50% bow limit and also making sure everyone can get their poison attacks in. As if you;re just using warspear guys you might aswell go with Serpent riders so they can get in poison too, plus, they're Ft4.

Dont bother with regular raiders, take Abrakhan raiders insated as Noobie suggested, Also I approve of his choice of leader instead of your choice. What do you plan on figthing I must ask, because this really mather when you build such a smal list. If you face Wargs or Katapratks you will be in for a challenge. This also applies if you are figthing Uruks in a pike formatiion Post your most common opponet and Il trow togetter a list I think may work for you .

The first list you've put together noobie sounds ace, you run that yourself?

Trondheim is right you want to optimize it around the people you are likely to play, especially with that few models

Nah, i run foot Harad. But if i was going to go with Horses that's what i would use. But i doubt i'd use all horses at 250pts. I'd rather get more models.

Aye this is really the core of the mather in such smal games. I would rather have alot of men on the field than a core of expensive and somewhat vunerabel warriors. But in lets say a 900 point game its a complet different thing. Thats where you can afford loses and keep going.

I mean at 250 pts i think i'd be able to get about 16 models maybe. If i went with just the boring basics of Captain and taskmaster for heroes and then bog standard troops.

Yeh boring but a great combo and very effective if played right, my bro played the list in the second battle report I put up and laid down 23 models in 250!

Well that ain't too bad then. He still lost though XD Think my list so far for 250 has either 21 models (inc heroes) or 18.
