Having played only one game so far with the new book, I can say that Veteran Jumbos are well worth it. When you only take a couple of hits from each enemy platoon it is nice when you can bounce it off.

They are also really good when assaulting enemies with Anti-tank weapons. They can take a hit from a Panzerfaust or Panzershreck without too much worry.

its even better when a command jumbo is also attached so you have 2 armor 12 tanks to take hits.

Detroits Finest is also really useful. The ability to move 6" and take no penelty for Stabilizers makes even regular Shermans a massive threat.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
