Played the demo earlier and enjoyed it quite a bit. Having the game have a persistent world with day and night cycles should be interesting. In the demo you get pregenerated Pawns but in the full version it imports player created Pawns. Your pawn only gains xp when you play but apparently gets items and can learn more about the game world and give you tips when they come back. I have only read a bit but I am very interested.

The demo should be on both PS3 and 360 by now.

I don't know if there will be a PC version. I don't believe one has been announced as of now.

I freaking love this game, so worth it to try the demo. It just makes me feel like I am in a warhammer world sometimes

I was interested in this game before the demo hit, but I didn't expect too much from it. After playing the demo however, I have to say that Dragon's Dogma has shot up to the top of my want list. The combat has a good feel to it, and I love the grab mechanic. It's pretty amusing being able to pick up and pin or toss about normal enemies, but the way that you can take hold of larger monsters is excellent (and exactly what I thought that Skyrim's dragon fights were missing). The weapon styles in the demo are vastly different, and I hope that the final product has a good mix to play around with. The character creation system is also robust and enjoyable, which is a plus in my book because I love making doods.

I just wish there was a bit more gameplay in the demo itself, as I'm quite sure that the poor Griffon is sick of me showing up to kill it.

Well i tried the demo and was vastly unimpressed with it, the only thing i liked was when i grabbed the griffon the game glitched and i was pretty much flying the darn thing which made killing it wayyyy to easy.

Really? I loved every second of it, the combat has plenty of depth what with extra attacks under the shoulder buttons.

Grabbing stuff is just fun and the customization is also ace. I honestly. And hell, you can actually climb stuff! I can't think of anything I didn't like actually.

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.
