Hello fellow gamers of Dakka.

I want, and really need to get a new game for PS3, and though there are awesome upcoming games such as Dishonoured and others, I can't wait that long and I leave for university in a couple months. So I decided to get already released games and I have come upon a choice.

On one side, I have Darksiders, number one as the second isn't released yet.

On the other I have God of War, the collection, which is the first two games remastered for PS3.

I really don't know which to buy, having never played either. What are your opinions?

I really like the idea of both games, but I want more than impressive graphics and bloody combat. I'm looking for a decent storyline with some originality and good gameplay that requires some skill and not just button mashing.

Also, the character in Darksiders looks like he has a powerfist...

Darksiders is meh.

GoW is okay.
