So there are two action adventure games coming out soon I'm interested in. They are Far cry 3 and the new Tomb Raider. Anyone seen these and think they looked interesting.

Far Cry 3 seems fun but what I'm really looking forawrd to is Assassin's Creed III.

How is Far Cry 3 an action adventure game?

Its open-world in the sense that you explore the envroment instead of it being linear like COD or BF's campaigns.

So it's a sandbox FPS, not an adventure game.

The Adventure genre is things like tomb raider, Uncharted.. those kind of things.

I just figured since you know it's a sandbox open world exploring game, it was adventure. Guess I was wrong.
