I am preparing a business plan to secure finance for a start-up hobby centre in the UK. I believe it would be a huge success; trying to convince the bank that it will be is another matter. This is where you guys come in! I would be really grateful to any members of the community if you could fill out this short questionnaire that I have prepared (max. time two minutes). As you will be our potential customers it would be truly enlightening to hear about your frustrations of the hobby services you have used as a paying customer. All questions answered will be treated with the strictest confidence. You could really help out a long-time wargamer with a vision to create a world-class cultural centre for wargamers worldwide. Thank you in advance for your time and support.

ive filled it in, but i think a big one that needs to be considered, is where, and what days.

For example - we used to have a local independant with 2 tables instore, that on a saturday would hire a larger hall, with about 20-25 tables, and charged £3.50 to get into the club.

This covered his hall hire, as well as giving him some spare to have painting competitions etc. (he setup an area with stock from the store, so he was still turning a profit).

But now we have a local GW (about 5 miles from me) with 16 tables available whenever they are open, so its probably not worth having a club that charges entry when you can use GW's free.

We also have an independant about 6 miles away (other direction) that does 10% off RRP of all Gw.
