Over on the official forums a Mr E. Paladin was lamenting the lack of an Aleph Support Group, where now Yu-Jing get one.
It was suggested that such a group would consist of a Sophotect and 2 Yudbots.
Now, I'm always open to tge idea of deals so I could easily construct such a thing!
Would anyone want in on that action? For every ASG that would be made, 2 Netrods shall also become available.
And while we're at it, are there any other ideal support groups that folk would like to see?

I like that idea, personally.
The Sophotect and 2 Yudbots is something which is going to be prohibitively expensive, I'd think--and what's more, the Netrods as it stands get you stuck with a Yudbot you may or may not use.
As a sidenote:
I think we need to pester them to have Nagas moved from "AVA: 2" to "AVA: Total".
Why in the world are Myrmidons our only "line" troops?

Ironically, in the month where I spend my budget on Yudbots and a Sophotect, I will also spend my budget on a box of Posthumans, so there's no reason to seek out a deal by eliminating the unwanted netrod.
However, I support and endorse the existence of such a deal for those who will take advantage of it!

Personally, I hate those Posthuman models. They're cheesecake models of the worst caliber, and annoy me to no end.
I'll be making my own Posthumans, thankyouverymuch.

They're not my favorite models, but they're all right. If I objected strenuously to cake of any kind, I'd have a hard time with all of ALEPH's models, male and female. Seriously, what are we, the T&A division?

You're absolutely right that we're not the "T&A Division", but at the same time...it's not really necessary for the most part when you look at the ALEPH models.
The bodysuits being skintight? That's unavoidably going to accentuate specific portions of female and/or male anatomy, and the majority of the issues with the painted versions (where Angel has included surprises poking through on the females) can be solved by simply not copying the painted versions.
But really, the problem is the posing. I've talked about this before and I don't really want to derail this thread further--if you'd like to discuss it, I'll gladly discuss it in PMs.

Yes, thank you.
Please be sure to keep your unhealthy Netrod fascination to PMs too.

I'll say it's unhealthy.... but the Yudbots? Phwooooar!
Anyroads, would it be worth making such a support unit? I'll be placing a supplier order today.

I would think it might be worth it, personally.
As I would think that a "Combirifle" and "Boarding Shotgun" oriented Myrmidon set might work too.

You mean just bs/ cr Myrmidon as a pair, or a pair of each weapon...?

A pair of each weapon. Sorry, I should have been a bit more descriptive in my post!

No worries!
I split boxes of Myrmidons fairly frequently so this is easily done!

That makes me think of another bit which might be useful:
If you were to do split Myrmidon boxes, would you just do the same bodies over and over for the combirifle/boarding shotgun guys or would you alter it up and vary which bodies are used?
That's one of the things pestering me about the Myrmidons and preventing me from adding more, personally. I'd have to buy a few boxes to get to where I want to be in the variety I could field.

Folks usually ask for them to be as they appear on the box, but apart from that there's no reason why I couldn't mix them up.
