As I am just starting out I have been thinking about basing. I am looking at three different schemes: fields/greenery; city ruins; and entrenched (gun pits and sand bags). I am playing late war British (free Poles actually).

Are there any examples of troops based in city ruins or entrenched? Otherwise what are your thoughts on aesthetic of late war British uniforms vs. these types of bases?
