What kind of camera do you use ?
With the contest, I realised I really need my own camera and a setup in order to have potable pictures.
I don't want to pay too much as I don't care about photography so it will be excusively for my minis.
Any suggestions ?
I gave a quick look on costco.ca and the cheapest is the Nikon® Coolpix® S2600 14.0 MP Digital Camera
http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10368355&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|79|4708&N=4008713&Mo=39&pos=4&No=34&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=4708&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&ec=BCCA-EC1137-Cat79&topnav=
Help me ? =P

If it's just for minis that one should be fine. I would look for anything that can do Macro shots, and has a decent MP number.
I would also suggest getting a little tripod to stand it on, and maybe look a cheap light box if you are looking to get the best pics possible. I have a 10mp Nikon Coolpix job which works just fine for me.

I use a Panasonic zs3 6mp which does a serviceable job for a point n shoot. This model is a few years old now but based on this I'd buy afrom em again as it was an incredible value for the price. I dunno if I'd recommend a digital SLR unless you're also a photography hobbyist.

I personally use a Canon Powershot A460 running CHDK for my miniatures photography - a five year old 5.0 MP entry level point and shoot.
I have a newer, more expensive camera, but I continue to use the A460 for taking pictures of my models, because it actually does a brilliant job of macro photography. And that's the important thing to say about buying a camera for miniature photography - MAKE SURE IT HAS A GOOD MACRO MODE. If it has a minimum focus distance of half a metre, you're wasting your time and money.
The S2600 will apparently focus at down to about 10cm, which is probably passable, but not by any means perfect. (My A460 will focus down to a single centimetre)
However, unlike Captain Jack, I have to say that megapixels are not what you should be paying attention to. Megapixels have little bearing on improving image quality, and there's little point in being able to photograph a model at 10 times what most computer monitors could ever show. In fact, too many MP will often have a detrimental effect on quality, as the manufacturers often push the limits too far in the quest for more resolution.
Anyway, I'll shut up now, because I'm sure I'm coming across like this:

To find that kind of thing, you'll need to check either the manufacturers website - or better, a review site, which will be more honest and objective about what the camera is actually capable of.

Macro instructions can often be found in the instruction manual, surprise surprise.
I use a Pentax istDL DSLR and a Sigma EF-530DG super external flash unit. With a tripod and self timer. This is because I have ALWAYS used an SLR camera - my first camera was an Olympus OM-20 (gift from uncle for photography class at school - age 15). I could have got a variety of compacts for much less - but I don't like compacts.
Macro is good for 20cm or so, Mp rating is adequate considering I don't need to print poster size prints (4-6mp is adequate for most use - over that and you are mainly making file sizes larger, yes there is more detail, but on a 6x4 print you'll never notice and only the larger screens at max resolution will show them).

While I'd agree that the increased resolution isn't hugely required, at least for miniatures photography (like I've said, I use a 5 MP camera and usually resize down to about half a megapixel for web use), the file-sizes aren't a particular problem, what with data capacities increasing in kind. While HDD prices have taken a bit of a hike at the moment (due to the flooding in Thailand damaging factories and raising prices due to the supply/demand ratio), I picked up a terabyte hard drive last year for £41. And that excess resolution does also help with cropping the photos afterwards.

Agreed, the macro function is the most important part. Having a decent number of MP means that you can blow up the pic without it becoming too grainey. As has been said a top of the range pull out all the stops camera is not what you need, I thing I paid £50 -60 for mine because it was an older model and therefor the shop was clearing stock
A tripod will help by reducing any shake from holding the camera, there are £3 jobs that do the job nicely example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neewer-Bendable-Flexible-Compact-Cameras/dp/B0053OQOGM/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1337086591&sr=1-13 for a cheapie.

I need to see if I can find where my one of those mini-tripods has gone. Given I'm going to be trying to run a battle report after the INQvitational next month, it could be useful for the photography. (Blurry/dark photos will not a good Dark Magenta article make.) Mind you, I could just buy a new one for what they cost.

I have three tripods, a monopod (walking stick with camera mount), gorilla pod and a clamp (with a ball-pivot camera mount - for attaching to posts, fences, etc). They're cheap enough for a 3-4' tripod these days.
I even gave away the first tripod I bought to some friends who needed one for their first DSLR (it was too heavy for their mini-pod). (I think it cost me about $90 back in 1986)

Tips on camera... breaking the myths.
1) You dont need to worry about megapixels... taking warhammer stuff you are fine with 10MP
2) You dont need megapixel unless you are looking to see the miniature's head the size of your monitor ( and thats how most people
have their pic size..... 5 megabites lol )
3) Resolution can be improved with adequate lighting.
4) Distance is important, you dont even need macro. You just need enough distance for camera lense to not
zoom around
